Super Slacker Sale!!!!

Hello All!

I am currently relaxin’ it up in the Outer Banks :)

obx

Knowing ahead of time that we would have wireless internet in our beautiful beach home, I didn’t exactly set-up any posts ahead of time.  Big Mistake.  Our wireless is shoddy at best, and so I’m currently feverishly typing away in a cute little coffee shape while my family gets all our beach belongings together.  I’m still not convinced my husband didn’t mess with the router in an attempt to get me to truly relax this week.

So long story short, I won’t be back until my feet are firmly planted  in New Jersey.
What does that mean for you? Well, no Favorite Things Linky this week. Sorry!

Also, I was participating in a Christmas in July Sale that goes until tomorrow night.  Because I won’t be getting into TpT I’m putting my whole store on SALE for the next 2 days!  Everything will be 20% off {even previous Christmas in July Sale Items}.  I hope that’s a fair enough consolation prize!  Click the picture to head to my store!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous day! See you next week!

It's a {{FREEBIE}} Blog Hop!!!!!

So you can tell by my blog title that I teach 2nd Grade.  And hopefully you can tell from my posts that I LOVE 2nd Grade! I love how they come in as babies and leave as independent learners. I love that they're still losing teeth and believe in Santa, cooties, and the Tooth Fairy.  I don't think there's another group to love more than 2nd Grade.

I also love 2nd Grade Bloggers!! Don't get me wrong...I love quite a few bloggers in various other grades...but I love the instant connection I have with so many of the ideas and products that other 2nd Grade teachers come up with.

That is why I'm so excited to be a part of a super-fun, super-easy, totally rewarding Second Grade Blog Hop!

Tori, over at Tori's Teacher Tips, has rounded up some of the best second grade bloggers for a Facebook Freebie hop! Each of us has an *exclusive to Facebook* freebie for you. All you have to do is "like" our Facebook pages to pick it up. When you get to the Facebook page, look for this image:

Click on it and grab your freebie! It's that easy!

Look who's participating! Click on the buttons to hop over to their Facebook pages.

The easiest way to grab your freebies is to start at Tori's Teacher Tips' Facebook page, as she has all of our links in one convenient place. You'll also notice that she has a Rafflecopter on the page. That's because we all decided to throw in a Winner's Choice from our TPT stores for our Bloglovin' followers as well! That's right! You could win 23 products just for following us on Bloglovin'!!! Here are our Bloglovin' links:

Make sure you head over to our Facebook pages ASAP, because these freebies will only be available THIS WEEKEND! The freebies and giveaway will end at midnight on Sunday, July 21st. GOOD LUCK!

It is also Day 2 of our Christmas in July Sale!  Today you can grab my Monthly Stationary {Writing Paper for the Whole Year} for ONLY $2.00...that's over 20% off! Click HERE to grab it!

Happy Hopping!

Hello there! Happy Friday!

It’s time for sweet Cara’s super-fun “Favorite Pins” Linky!

Here are some of my recent favorite pins:

Mac lipstick dupes

Sorry this pin is so obnoxiously long. I am not a fan of long pins. I am a fan of lipstick. And Nordstrom, Ulta, and Sephora are fans of my wallet, so I was excited to come across this pin so I can give Target and Walgreens some of my money instead!

Easy mailbox makeover! What a transformation!

Ummm…how fun is this mailbox?!? It almost makes me excited to walk to the end of my driveway and get my bills {since that’s the only thing that comes in the mail anymore!}

this will never not be funny

This one just makes me laugh!

Miss Kindergarten: Getting Organized! New Student Bags

I’ve seen this idea before, and I actually do it in my own classroom, but Miss Kindergarten just makes it look cuter :)

whole class journals: each student can write in them on a certain topic and the class can read them at different times. great activity for students who finish early, or work on writing part of d5. use tablets.

Love these shared journals.  Definitely adding them to my “Work on Writing” area this year. Read more about my “Work on Writing” plans here.

And I’m loving these quotes…

Definitely need to keep this one in mind…especially the last part.
